DESCRIPTION:Nikolaos Zygouras\nDirected Random Polymers model the motion of a random walk in a random potential. From its introduction into the mathematical community 35 years ago it has offered the ground for many interesting mathematical developments. In this talk I will review some of the milestones and point to some of the still tantalising open questions.
